How to Get There
Hat Karon is about an hour by taxi from Phuket International Airport, with taxi being the best way to get here unless you rent a car. Minibuses also run to Karon from the airport for a fraction of the taxi price although they are slower. The main town on Phuket is Phuket Town, a 45-minute transfer from the airport and 30 minutes from Karon.
What to see
Karon Beach (Hat Karon) - a broad stretch of white sand that is less busy than nearby Patong. Sunsets here are stunning.
Dino Park Mini Golf - this 18-hole mini-golf course is a popular side attraction in Karon and can be found near Marina Phuket Resort.
