How to Get There
Ao Bang Thao is closer to Phuket International Airport than most other Phuket beaches and is best reached by taxi - about a 30-minute ride. Phuket Town is about 40 minutes from the airport while reaching Patong Beach takes a bit longer.
What to see
Bang Thao Beach - the main attraction at Ao Bang Thao, with its wide, sweeping sands and remote, laid-back feel.
The Laguna complex - featuring several hotels in one complex with swimming pools, spa facilities, and shopping galore.
