How to Get There
Taxi is the fastest and most convenient way to get to Patong from Phuket International Airport, with journeys taking about 45 minutes - walk out of the airport gates and pick up a meter taxi to save money. Shared minibuses also make the journey. Phuket Town is the nearest major town to Patong, 20 minutes over a hill, and is 40 minutes from Phuket International Airport
What to see
Patong nightlife - is the main attraction in Patong, with people coming from all over the island to party and see the resort's girls.
Patong Beach - not the most stunning on the island but nice nonetheless, with white sand, numerous umbrellas and makeshift eateries, and backed by a clean promenade.
